About My Family

Hello! I am so excited to tell you about myself and my family, the biggest support system I have! I am 23 years old and am about to begin my second year as a collegiate missionary in Auburn, Ala. I graduated in 2019 with my bachelor's degree in social work from Auburn University and have been in full-time ministry since then.

My family immigrated to the States from Colombia when I was 4 years old to pursue Hispanic ministry in the United States. My parents are church planters and have been faithful to their calling all my life. They recently settled down in Katy, Texas, where my dad serves as the Hispanic pastor at a local church.

I have an older brother who is completing his studies at Vanderbilt School of Medicine. He and his wife both live in Nashville, Tenn. My family has given me greater love for the Father. I love them!

About My Ministry

In the past year, the Lord has allowed me to serve at First Baptist Opelika as a collegiate missionary. This is the church I attended as a college student, and I am so thankful that this is where the Father has allowed me to continue investing. This ministry is bringing the gospel to people, people to community and the community to mission.

As a collegiate missionary I spend most of my time investing in the college students in our church body. Discipleship with students looks like walking alongside one another, equipping them with tools that will be useful for sharing and helping them find their God-given gifts and learning to use them to further the kingdom of God.

Pray that our team will grow individually in love for our Father and from that love we would be able to love and lead our students well. Pray that our students would be fervent in their relationship with God and with those around them. Pray for the lost in Auburn. There are at least 19,000 students on Auburn's campus who are living their lives apart from the Father. Pray that the Father would soften their hearts to receive the Good News. Pray that the Father would build up and send out laborers into the city and into the nations. Pray I would grow in my love for God and that I would joyfully surrender myself to His mission and will for my life.

We have all been appointed ambassadors of the faith as Paul writes to the church of Corinth (2 Corinthians 5:18-20). We all have a part in this ministry. My hope and prayer is that you all join together with me to reach the lost, to further equip the called and to fulfill the Great Commission. I ask for your prayers as my team embarks on this mission together, as well as praying about partnering with me financially.
