About My Family

Courtney and I have been married for almost seven years, and we are blessed beyond words with three beautiful children: Anastasia, Arthur and Louie.

We both grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta, moved to Louisville in order to attend Southern Seminary and Boyce College, and have now moved into a part of Atlanta called East Point to plant a church for Jesus.

About My Church Plant

A few years ago God opened my eyes to the current issues in North America concerning racism. He impressed upon my heart that I needed to address this through our ministry, though at the time I wasn’t sure what that would look like. Almost two years later, as my family prayed about the direction in which God was leading us, He made clear a call for us to plant a church in Atlanta, and it all began to make sense.

From that time forward the Lord has brought others to partner with us in planting, and He has even helped us begin the formation of a church-planting team. With God’s guidance, we eagerly hope to mature and grow under the leadership of the Midtown Bridge and Johnson Ferry Baptist Church as we pursue this calling and prepare to plant Redemption City Church in East Point.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

Pray that the Lord of the harvest will send co-laborers into East Point to help lead this church plant and reach the surrounding community for Christ. Pray also that our gifts would flourish and grow through the Holy Spirit and that God will do what He alone can do in making human hearts receptive to the gospel.

Participate

The needs in East Point are great, and we cannot do this by ourselves. You may be someone the Lord calls to this harvest, and we ask you to pray about whether or not you are being led to invest in this church with your God-given gifts and talents. If you find that you are not personally able to give in that way, we ask that you would consider partnering with God's calling on our lives either through a one-time gift or monthly donations.
