About My Family

I am I am single, never married and have no children. I live with my adult niece.

I was born in Iraqi Kurdistan and came to the United States in 2009. I became a follower of Christ in 2000.

About My Church Plant

I am planting a church among Kurdish immigrants in El Cajon, Calif. We hold worship services every week. We also offer community services, including English classes, citizenship classes, computer classes and music classes. We help Kurds complete forms. We hold holiday celebrations and often distribute food.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

Pray for the planter and volunteers as they work together in ministry. Pray the church will be established and will faithfully work to plant in other communities too. Pray the Lord brings leaders who can help within the church. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy.

Participate

Build relationships with the church planter, team members and their families. Send notes of encouragement. Learn birthdays and anniversaries, so you can send gifts and cards. Volunteer to assist with classes and events. Prayers and donations are always welcome.
Learn the church plant, its strategy and context, so you can provide relevant resources. Support a church planter financially.
