About My Family

Brando and Caitlin Menjivar have been married since May of 2013. They have two beautiful children, Titus and Ariana. They met in Bible college where they both began to prepare for a lifetime of ministry. Right after they graduated they were married, and Brando became a youth pastor, launching the youth ministry at Los Angeles Baptist Church in downtown Los Angeles. While serving with her husband in Los Angeles, Caitlin founded a local Christian school where a growing number of students are still learning today. In 2016 God opened the doors for their family to join the team at Life.Church under the leadership of Pastor Craig Groeschel and later became one of the pastors at a Life.Church Network church plant, Impact580.Church, where they had the opportunity to be part of the startup and witness great growth since its beginning.

About My Church Plant

Our family would love to invite you to partner with us as we endeavor to launch StoryLine Church next fall in the East Bay area of San Francisco. The San Francisco Bay Area is 96 percent unchurched and the most expensive place to live in the U.S. To say we need your prayer and financial support is an understatement. We are better together! Together, we will start a life-giving church whose mission will be to connect everyday stories to the story of Jesus. We will be a church that is Jesus-centered and a shining light in great darkness. We will be a church that is relationally raw because we aren't afraid to keep it real. We are urban peacemakers who are responsible for our city and the world. We will make it impossible for people to not know God. We are storytellers who tell the greatest story. Be a character in the Storyline!

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God’s call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at “Send me.”

Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant.
