About My Family

I first trusted in Jesus when I was in tenth grade and from there began serving the Lord on short-term trips through my home church. When I came to Auburn University and began attending Lakeview Baptist, I learned the importance of making disciples in Auburn, Ala., and around the world. In 2015, through Lakeview, I had my first opportunity to go to New York City on a missions trip. During this trip, I knew the Lord was calling me to serve Him in New York City after graduation. Since then, I have spent two summers and two spring breaks serving in the city. The Lord has broken my heart for the lost in New York, and I desire to see this city know Jesus Christ as Savior. Some of my favorite things include reading, cooking, spending time with friends, exploring and finding the peaceful places in the midst of the busyness!

About My Church Plant

I am serving on staff at New City Church as a children's ministry coordinator. I have a passion for serving our younger generation and desire to see them growing up knowing Jesus as their Savior from a young age. New City Church is located in Long Island City, Queens. The vision of New City is to plant churches along Line 7 in Queens, one of the most diverse areas in the world. There are more than 130 nations represented and more than 180 languages spoken along Line 7. There are also approximately 18 unreached people groups living in Queens. New York City is one of the two most influential cities in the world. Therefore we have the opportunity to reach the world with the gospel through reaching New Yorkers with the gospel.

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at

Pray that the Lord would be glorified in New York City and that His name would be made known among the lost there. Pray that those I meet would have receptive hearts to hear the gospel. Pray for my boldness to actively share the gospel because I know that Christ is worthy to be shared. Lastly, pray for me as I transition to the city. Pray that I would continue to trust in God with each step that I take.

Commit to being a long-term partner with me and my mission through prayer and monthly support. Commit to pray for me and the lost in New York. Connect as a Sending Church or a Supporting Church with our efforts to plant more churches throughout Queens.
Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant. Visit for NAMB's policy on providing for church plants.
