Additionally, she has been a teacher, business manager, entrepreneur, business analyst in high tech and an operating officer in manufacturing. We have four adult children.

About My Church Plant

God has called us to shepherd an expanding family of simple churches who usually meet in homes and are committed to sharing the gospel, loving people, obeying the Bible and growing in relationship with Jesus. Through our ministry, we are asking God to start hundreds of new churches made of of thousands of new believers over the next several years. Following the biblical principles of multiplication, we are hoping to see a movement of disciple-making and church-starting in the Bay Area similar to those being seen in dozens of places outside the U.S.

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at

Pray that God would continue to strengthen us as we and the people of our churches are out several times every week sharing the gospel! Pray that those we encounter would receive the gospel and become people who want to love and obey Jesus. Pray that as people mature in Christ they would form into healthy churches and that leaders would arise in those churches.

We love to host small (4–6 person) missions teams who are excited about sharing the gospel face-to-face in neighborhoods all over the Bay Area. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit and a great love for the lost, then please contact us to schedule a four to five day missions trip. We can even host your team in our house to reduce expenses and enjoy the fun of living life together!
Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant. Visit for NAMB's policy on providing for church plants.
