About My Family

My wife, Amanda, and I live with our four daughters and two dogs in New Orleans. I was born here, but moved around as a child and grew up mostly in Florida. Florida is where Amanda and I met, and after a few years of being a rock star (in my own mind), our hearts turned toward ministry.

I began to work with the nonprofit, To Write Love on Her Arms. God used nonprofit work in the mental health community to guide me and prepare me for what we're doing today.

We love our city and savor our food culture. We are sports fans, longtime LSU and Saints supporters, and most recently we've enjoyed some Formula 1 racing. Our girls attend a French Immersion school here in New Orleans, and we all enjoy the unique culture and flavor of life that can only be found in this place.

About My Church Plant

I studied ministry and theology at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. While completing my studies, I helped plant a church here in the city. God used this experience to connect us with a local church in need of a fresh start and ready to replant. This is an exciting season of rebirth as we reach for "All Nations, All Generations, All Things New."

We are located in Uptown New Orleans, very near Tulane University. We are surrounded by a diverse community near the intersection of two major avenues. There are few evangelical churches in our area, and the ministry context includes some very educated and affluent neighbors. God has given us favor within our community, and we are patiently building relationships and creating spaces where trust can be earned and expectations redefined.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray for the planter’s family as they work together in ministry. Pray the church will be established and will faithfully work to plant in other communities, too. Pray the Lord brings leaders who can help within the church. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy.

Build relationships with a church planter, team members and their families. Send notes of encouragement. Learn birthdays and anniversaries, so you can send gifts and cards.
