About My Family

Josh and Bethany met after Josh returned from his first combat tour in Iraq in the Army. They were married shortly after meeting each other and Josh was shipped back to Iraq after a few weeks of being married to Bethany. After he returned home from the Army, God gave him the fire of evangelism and a fire for the lost and unchurched. Josh was then called into full-time ministry after a missions trip to Uganda with his Sending Church and has since graduated with an M.Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas.

They have been blessed with two beautiful little girls: Tinley (6) and Lexi (3) and a baby boy named Silas. The whole family is thrilled to be in Bargersville, Ind., to reach the lost and unchurched.

About My Church Plant

We moved from Ft. Worth, Texas, to Bargersville, Ind., to start Gospel Grove Church. Bargersville is a rural yet thriving bedroom community of Indianapolis. We started a small group on July 10, 2016, in our home with 28 people (mostly from Josh and Bethany's neighborhood). Since then God has blessed us with seeing 98 people come to saving faith in Christ and seeing lives transformed for Jesus Christ.

The mission for our church is "Connecting Others to Our Savior and to Our Family." We have seen God work in amazing ways in doing that. We are doing this by going out into the community to tell others about the good news of Jesus Christ as well as doing outreach in our community.

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity.
