About My Family
My wife, Cayla, and I have been together 10 years, and we have two awesome kiddos: Beau (2) and Adalyn (newborn).
I served on staff at Tri-Cities Baptist Church in East Tennessee from 2011–2017. Tri-Cities is the church in which my wife was raised and the church that introduced me to what it means to follow Jesus. I served in student ministry for several years before coming on staff as the college pastor and was later sent out to plant our first multi-site congregation, where I served for five years as lead teaching pastor and one of the elders of our family of churches. I was then sent to Denver to plant churches.
My wife has a background of serving inner-city families through various nonprofit efforts and now disciples our kids full time from home.

About My Church Plant
We exist to enjoy and follow Jesus and to help others enjoy and follow Jesus. In a beautiful and broken city like Denver, we long for the beauty of God to be on display and His kingdom to break through in the neighborhoods of Denver and among all nations through lives transformed as "Oaks of Righteousness" (Isaiah 61).
We believe this happens as we join God in what He is doing. Jesus is redeeming people. We desire to see people saved by God's grace. Jesus is renewing people. We desire to see people changed by His Spirit. Jesus is reconciling people. We desire to invite people to live as God's family. Jesus is restoring all things. We desire to live sent on God's mission to multiply disciple-making disciples and church planting churches.

NAMB Church Planting
Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at namb.net/send-me.
