About My Family

Our family of four is made up of Cindy, our daughters, Aubrey and Cara, and me (Jason). We live in College Park, Ga. I am an Atlanta native, and Cindy is originally from Virginia. I earned my undergraduate degree from Georgia Southern University, as well as Master of Business Administration and Master of Divinity degrees from Mercer University. I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Ministry. I have a heart for people and a passion for inspiring others to discover and fulfill their God-given purpose. My mission is to impact people through living and sharing my Jesus story in hope they live and share theirs. Cindy has been an educator for more than 15 years. She has recently opened an accredited school in College Park specifically for students with learning disabilities for underserved communities on the south side of Atlanta.

About My Church Plant

Collaboration Church is a church plant located in College Park, Ga. We exist to love people, make disciples, strengthen families and collaborate with others. We are a community of believers who strive to continually pursue Jesus; be intentional about prayer, discipleship and evangelism; and encourage and have fellowship with one another. We are intentionally focused on helping people grow spiritually, both internally within our ministry and externally with those in our area who are not part of our ministry, and with those with whom we connect via technology (social media, YouTube and the internet). We also want to become a Sending Church that regularly equips, sends and supports church planters. Come collaborate with us.

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at namb.net/send-me.

Please pray for the following needs: That God will send more people who will partner with us as we serve our community. That we will reach more people. For a permanent worship and small group meeting space within the community. For a youth pastor.

We are BIG on collaboration. We know that we can make a greater impact when working together. We have events in which you can participate as well as host groups who come to Atlanta to do missions trips. As we are a new church plant and can always use your financial support. Please contact us on other ways to collaborate.
Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant. Visit sendnetwork.com/PlanterFunding for NAMB's policy on providing for church plants.
