About My Family

My wife (Kasey) and I have been married for 17 years and have four wonderful children. We've served in ministry since 2005 with a heart for revitalization but have spent the past year planting in Pinedale, Wyoming, due to the vast lostness of our state (97 percent do not know Christ). We enjoy the outdoors and spend our free time hiking, skiing and being amazed by God's wonderful creation.

About My Church Plant

We have been in Pinedale since June 2016 serving to plant a church in our small town. Pinedale is located about 100 miles south of Yellowstone National Park, and we are along the major travel route for tourists heading there throughout the year. Along with tourism, the natural gas industry is our largest economical contributor. The vast numbers of workers allow us to come into contact with a large number of people from different parts of the country. While the "wild west" days may be long past, the tough mindset of rugged invidualism is still going strong. Many believe good morals and a strong work ethic are all that is needed to make it to heaven; we labor to show the necessity of Christ and our complete hopelessness apart from Him.

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at namb.net/send-me.

For endurance to labor with love to the lost in our community. For strength to disciple the saints who know Christ. For grace in dealing with the large Mormon influence we encounter often. For fidelity to Christ in all we do.

Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant.
