About My Family

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. My grandpa is a pastor in Humble, Texas. I was raised in church. Jesus began pursuing me at a young age, and the gospel became real to me in my middle school years. The Lord pursued me through the influence of a man named Pierre Cannings. Pierre was a teacher at my school and was the youth pastor at Living Word Fellowship Church. My dad passed away when I was 3 years old, so Pierre stepped into my life as a role model and mentored me. He began to disciple me, modeling the truths of the gospel. Around seventh grade, I received Jesus into my heart and began following Him wholeheartedly.

I recently graduated from Texas State University (TSU) with a degree in business management, and I love applying my skills to my passions.

About My Church Plant

I've served through Crosstalk (a college ministry at TSU) for several years, leading worship and investing myself into guys on campus. Ultimately, my hope is to glorify God, serve others and use my gifts to give back to the community.

I moved to Atlanta, Ga., in April 2017 to be part of Gospel Hope Church. I believe God is calling me to serve in this area and that He has been preparing me for the past several years for this opportunity. I will continue to lead worship and will also have opportunities to assist with church branding.

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at namb.net/send-me.

For receptive hearts among the people in communities where we will serve. For my transition from Texas to Atlanta. For the staff at Gospel Hope Church.

Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant.
