About My Family

I am in a season of raising support to be a part of Christian Challenge staff at California Baptist University (CBU). I recently graduated from CBU with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology, and during my time there I got to learn about the value of discipleship.
One of the things I am most grateful for during my college career is the people who invested in my life. Because of those life-changing relationships, I really saw the impact of discipleship as God used them to shape my life. In light of what God did during my college years, it is clear that paying it forward and serving in collegiate ministry is the next role in which I am to serve.
It is a joy to walk with students to help them understand God's heart for all people to know Him, teaching them how to live biblically and encouraging them to pass that on to others, both on campus and in the church. I believe that college students are more reachable, teachable and sendable in this season of life than in any other season of life. College years are one of the last and perhaps easiest times people have for major change in their lifetime, and I love getting to be part of that process.

About My Ministry

California Baptist University is located in Southern California and has an on-campus population of about 3,000 with more than 8,000 students total in attendance. It has a very diverse student body, including a large international population as well as a rapidly increasing non-believing one. It's my desire and intention to share the gospel and train those who follow Christ to reach their campus with the same good news. As a ministry, we invite students to know Christ, challenge them to live out their lives as biblical followers of Jesus and encourage them to teach others to do the same. Through a variety of avenues and opportunities, we desire to be disciples who make disciples and pass on that same biblical pattern to students. So they in turn invest in the lives of students on campus, in their local church and through overseas opportunities. I hope they will believe that God's heart is for every nation, tribe and tongue to know His Son, Jesus Christ, and to worship Him alone and that they will participate in His Great Commission for the rest of their lives in whatever avenues God chooses to place them.

Pray that students at California Baptist University will be transformed by the gospel, whether by believing it for the first time or continually being transformed into the image of Christ. Pray that God would raise up laborers as Challenge staff continually works to invest in students on this campus. Pray for God's continued provision in my life financially and in all ways so that the work of ministry here can continue.

I'm so thankful to serve with you as God works in the lives of college students in Southern California. Your partnership, both through prayer and giving, is unmistakably vital to my ministry. I am so thankful that you have chosen to support me as I work with Challenge on the campus of California Baptist University. I'd love for you to be a monthly partner in a long-term sense, contributing to my needs as I seek to live out God's work in ministry here.
Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant. Visit for NAMB's policy on providing for church plants.
