About My Family

I was born and raised in Bangladesh. In 1988 I received the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and began a new life with Him, serving through my local church. In 1990, I responded to God's call to His ministry. I went to a seminary for study, and I served Him for 17 years in Bangladesh as a pastor and youth minister. God called my wife, Rozi, and me to New York City in 2018 as missionaries to reach thousands of unreached, lost souls.

Rozi and I were married June 23,1991. God the Father has deeply blessed us with two beautiful children. Our daughter, Sarah, was born in 1994, and our son, Bless, was born in 2003.

About My Church Plant

In 2012, we started a home fellowship with 12 people. I joined the North American Mission Board as a church planter in June 2014. We planted our first church in 2014, and as a Sending Church, we sent six church planters to New York City. They planted five more churches in different areas of the city. We have eight more church planting pipeline team members.

More than 100,000 Bangla people are living in New York City, and 99 percent of them are non-believers. Our vision is to share the good news of Jesus Christ with those unreached people. In the next five years, we are committed to plant more churches and raise more church planters, pastors and leaders.

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant. Visit for NAMB's policy on providing for church plants.
