About My Family

My wife, Allison, and I have been happily married since 2011 and have welcomed four sweet babies since then: Emma Grace, Justus, Lydia and Elizabeth. After I spent a few years in the business world and Allison teaching public school, I spent a few years as a pastor of a church in Winston-Salem, N.C.

In 2017, some friends moved to Calgary, Alberta, to plant a church. After visiting a few times, God began to draw our hearts to the city of Calgary. In November of 2018, we decided to join what God is doing in Alberta and move to Calgary. I will be spending the first year working with the Tapestry Church Planting Network as the network coordinator and then will move toward planting a church.

About My Church Plant

We desire to plant a church targeting the University of Calgary and surrounding communities in Northwest Calgary. The reasons for planting a church in this area are three-fold: 1) There is a great need for the gospel; 2) God has given us a heart for university students; and 3) We want to invest our lives in raising up young godly men and women who will lead the church for future generations.

Our Vision:
God willing, we will be a biblically healthy, thriving church in northwest Calgary that collaborates with other churches to bring gospel renewal to the city by ensuring every man, woman and child has multiple opportunities to hear and respond to the gospel. We desire to equip the saints to be disciple makers where they live, learn, work and play. Our vision is to train 100 indigenous leaders to multiply and lead future generations.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.
