About My Family

My wife, Allison, and I have been happily married since 2011 and have welcomed four sweet babies since then: Emma Grace, Justus, Lydia and Elizabeth (with baby #5 expected in June 2020). Prior to this church planting journey, Allison taught public elementary school while I spent several years in the business world, as well as pastoring a church in Winston-Salem, N.C.

In 2017, some friends moved to Calgary, Alberta, to plant a church. After several visits, and serving as summer missions interns in 2018, God began to draw our hearts to this beautiful city. We said "yes" to God's leading, and in June 2019 we moved our family from North Carolina to Cochrane, Alberta, to join God at work.

About My Church Plant

From July 2019 through June 2020, I have been a church planting apprentice with Tapestry Church and the Tapestry Church Planting Network (TCPN) in Cochrane, which is northwest of Calgary. Moving forward, I will be a co-vocational church planter. This means I will continue serving as network coordinator for TCPN while planting a missional community in a new community on the southside of the town of Cochrane.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.
