About My Family

I have been blessed to be married to my bride, Lisa, since 1989. We have been gifted with two tremendous sons, who are both active in ministry, a supportive and loving church family, and a call to serve the Lord as church planters. I have come to this late in life after a long career in sales. God called us to a new work, and we were sent in 2015 by our home church to begin a church in Manchester, N.H.—the largest city in our state.

About My Church Plant

Emmaus Church is meeting in a new location in a primarily low income residential area of Manchester. We are surrounded by homelessness, a serious opiod addiction issue and lostness that can be felt. Most people in Manchester may have grown up in a traditionally Catholic home but have had little to no exposure to the gospel. We spend hours every week out in the city talking to people about Jesus and their salvation on the street, in coffee shops and anywhere else God may lead. It is hard, rocky ground but through prayer, perseverance and personal interaction hearts are softening, and the message is being heard. Our vision is to double our space and open a cafe/coffee shop that would keep the church doors open during the week. In this way, we hope to reach our neighbors, develop relationships and share the gospel seven days a week!

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at

For Emmaus Church as we work to push back lostness in Manchester, N.H., and beyond. For receptive hearts among the people of greater Manchester. For churches and individuals to partner with us and to give of their time and talents to reach those in need of the gospel. For provision as we pour into our community with the love of Christ.

Connect as a Supporting Church with our church plant work. Commit to long-term missions support with Emmaus Church. Be involved in supporting our family as we commit our lives to service to the Lord. Help with this work either through individual service or as part of a missions team.
Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant. Visit for NAMB's policy on providing for church plants.
