About My Family

Shea and Amber have been married for 11 years and have four amazing children: Kinsey (10), Keegan (9), Kaden (7) and Kameron (5). We love doing things together, from sports to board games and watching movies. Shea has served as a college pastor and executive pastor for a church plant. For the past six years, he has served as assistant director of recreation at First Baptist Woodstock in Woodstock, Ga. Leading mission teams to help church plants connect with their communities is where God stirred Shea's heart for church planting. October 27, 2013, God clearly and compellingly called Shea and Amber to plant churches. After praying over places around the world, God arrested their hearts for Phoenix, specifically the East Valley area of Chandler/Gilbert. Shea has a passion for evangelism, discipleship and seeing local churches work together.

About My Church Plant

Freedom Life Church exists to engage the disconnected to become united in Christ. We launched publicly on January 15, 2017, at Weinberg Elementary School. Our Life Groups are the heartbeat of our church. Through our Life Groups we encourage believers in their walk with Christ, connect people to do life together and reach out to our community through monthly service projects and evangelism. We have been blessed to see 16 confessions of faith and four baptisms this past year and are excited about the relationships God is bringing our way. The vision of our church will be accomplished as we fuel community and empower people to live for Christ. Our four key values are: Love Contagiously, Invest Intentionally, Fuel Community and Expect Transformation.

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at

–Pray for Shea, Amber and their family.
–Pray for wisdom.
–Pray for salvation of our community.
–Pray for persons of peace in the community.
–Pray for open doors to share the gospel.
–Pray for continued unity and wisdom for our church.

–Prayer: We know that no great work is ever done without being covered in prayer.
–Join us in Chandler to help reach this community and city for Christ. This could be through missions teams coming to serve, individuals/families relocating to our area or financially supporting the ministry of our new church.
–Connect us with those you know in the area or those who may support this work.
Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant. Visit for NAMB's policy on providing for church plants.
