About My Family

My wife, Rita, and I love serving the Lord together. We were both saved later in life and felt the call to full-time ministry right away. We have three grown children who are all serving the Lord on their own now. We have 12 beautiful grandchildren and are so grateful for the Lord's grace in our lives. We are amazed that the Lord is using us in His kingdom work and have a deep passion for sharing the gospel with the lost.

About My Church Plant

The Lord has given us a passion for the people of the United States. We were both saved later in life after believing for years that we were right with God in the churches we attended. Now the Lord has pinned on our hearts to share the truth of the gospel with professed Christians who have been misled in their churches. We are thrilled to be in full-time gospel work. We strive daily to encourage believers and evangelize the lost. We have occasionally been asked to visit various gospel works overseas to encourage and come alongside others doing the Lord's work, but the bulk of ministry is here in the U.S., where we count it a blessing that we already know the people, the culture and the language. We have both been given the gift of evangelism and are continually amazed to watch the Lord miraculously convert souls and transform lives.

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at namb.net/send-me.

For receptive hearts among the people here in Johnson County, Kan. That we would always be aware of where the Lord is working around us and follow the Spirit's leading to be part of His work. That we would be bold in sharing the truth in love. That we will continue to encourage believers and help model the Great Commission to them.

Pray that the Lord would provide the last 20 percent of our support that we need. Encourage others to follow the Lord's leading to evangelize the lost in their own sphere of influence.
Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant.
