About My Family

We both grew up in south Louisiana, graduated from the same high school and have June birthdays. We married October 28, 2017, after many years of dating and are excited to see where God leads us on this wonderful journey.

Milton has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southeastern Louisiana University and a standard Master of Divinity degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS). He previously served as the student pastor at Bethel Baptist Church in Livingston, La. He has continued his career as a veterinarian technician here in Anchorage.

Emily has a bachelor’s degree in communications/film studies from Tulane University, a master’s degree in missiology from NOBTS, and has worked with a variety of missions organizations. She currently works with youth entrepreneurship programs in Anchorage.

About My Church Plant

In September 2018, we began/restarted ministry on the east side of Anchorage. We currently have a weekly youth group meeting and a weekly girls ministry night. A core group of students has emerged from these ministries, and we are praying for the students to boldly share their faith with their families and communities. We send out bi-monthly email updates with ministry details and prayer requests.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.

Pray for Jesus to be glorified in all we say and do. Pray for boldness to share the gospel and for the hearts of those around us to be opened. Pray for favor in our community. Pray for perseverance during difficulties, protection from the enemy and grace for every situation.

Build relationships with missionaries and their families. Send notes of encouragement. Learn birthdays and anniversaries so you can send gifts and cards.
Learn the ministry strategy and context, so you can provide relevant resources. Support a missionary financially.
