About My Family

Nick was born and raised in Stone Mountain, Ga., and is a Redan High School graduate. He was saved and radically converted in 2010 and licensed for ministry in 2012 under Greater Works Intl. Ministries. He is a founding member of the young adult ministry out of Atlanta, Ga., Saltlight Ministries. He received his first experience in ministry doing street evangelism. He is passionate about reaching the lost and, as a result, is active in preaching, outreach, community activism, youth ministry and church planting. He is currently serving as young adult leader at Connect Church Atlanta under Pastor Tez Andrews, where he also serves in many capacities planning events, working with youth and young adults and outreach ministry, assisting in church planting and ministry building. He is also currently enrolled at Beulah Heights Bible College seeking his B.A. in Leadership/Religious Studies. In his own words: "I know I am called to preach and teach the unadulterated gospel of Jesus Christ to the young and old and to serve selflessly. Anything else is secondary."

About My Church Plant

As a church we believe wholeheartedly in community and the necessity of the Church, now more than ever, to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We walk out these beliefs through our intentional efforts in the South Dekalb area and beyond. Whether it be through teacher appreciation events in local schools, fall festival events, sports camps, angel tree (Christmas for the less fortunate) or serving in senior living facilities, we are grateful the Lord has afforded us the ability to serve our community in so many ways. I am personally grateful for being a part of this ministry because I've grown tremendously in the areas of service and accountability in ministry. Pastor Tez and the Connect Church family have been instrumental in helping me see the importance of selfless servitude and how much it embodies who Jesus is and what He represents.

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. Connect Youth Intervention Ministry: We recently received a call from one of our local principals requesting that we escort a group of their most troubled youth into DeKalb County jail for an intervention trip. These particular students were involved in gangs, were truant and considered a nuisance/disruption to school at times. He told Pastor Tez that he specifically trusts Connect Church to escort these youth and to minister to these youth on this trip and beyond. These trips have been so eye-opening that we strongly feel the Lord is pulling on us to birth a Connect Youth Intervention Ministry to do this on a broader scale and build partnerships with schools in DeKalb County and beyond to be able to minister to their most troubled youth. These are youth that are commonly suspended, written off, expelled or simply tossed to the side because they are deemed unreachable. Please be in prayer with us as we go forth in this cause as well as specifically praying that the Lord sends mentors whom we can plug these youth into for discipleship. We believe no one is unreachable and through Jesus Christ we can impact these youth in a way that changes their lives forever!

Connect Youth Intervention Ministry: We need mentors! We are in need of mentors to assist us in reaching troubled youth within DeKalb County Schools. We have been given an opportunity to escort some of DeKalb's most troubled youth in the DeKalb County jail for an intervention. We need your help! We are looking for male and female mentors to help us with this initiative. These candidates must be open and willing to escort youth on intervention trips, participate in relationship building programs with the youth and disciple these youth. If you would like to participate in this initiative, please contact us at 404-369-8002 or (All candidates must pass ministry safe background screening in order to participate.)
Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant. Visit for NAMB's policy on providing for church plants.
