About My Family

Olga and I are from Benin, West Africa. We have been married more than a decade and are the parents of three sons: Olukpe, Olushola and Oludara. In Benin, we built and led the Christian Center Shalom, focusing on evangelism, discipleship, church planting and prayer ministry. We came to the U.S. in 2007 in obedience to God's calling. When we came to the United States, we started a homeless ministry in downtown Atlanta, Ga. We were involved in caregiving with the Stephen Ministry at Dogwood Church and served in the home office of the missionary organization Operation Mobilization, USA.

About My Church Plant

We are excited to reach out to the African diaspora and nations for Christ. The African minorities—African immigrants, Caribbeans and African Americans—are growing in the New York metropolitan area.

Our church is located in Somerset, N.J., which is well known for African diaspora markets, restaurants, festivals and unreached people groups. Our vision is to make more and better followers of Christ through ministry activities that respond to the spiritual and physical needs of Somerset and the communities around us. We also value partnership and brotherhood to expand God's kingdom.

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. Pray for an effective church planting team to be raised. Pray for anointing on our ministry and for favor among the people we serve. Pray for provision and protection for our family. Pray for the African diaspora and the nations we are reaching for Christ.

Send a team from your church to help in prayerwalks, evangelism and discipleship ministries. Help to reach the African diaspora nations for Christ.
Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant. Visit for NAMB's policy on providing for church plants.
