About My Family

Wendy and I have been married for 25 years and are both from Canton, Ohio. We both gave our lives to Christ when we were 13 and surrendered to full-time ministry shortly after. We have three awesome children. We are extremely blessed that all our children have given their lives to Christ and have developed a love for ministry.

Juliene is married to Colby Chester, a youth pastor in Dublin, Ga. Juliene is finishing up her teaching degree and working at an elementary school.

Delaney is a junior at California Baptist University studying music education. She senses God calling her to be a worship leader.

Joshua just turned 18. He’s on the football and wrestling teams. He works at Chick-fil-A and is involved with Young Life. He’s not sure what he wants to do after graduation, but is enjoying his senior year.

About My Church Plant

I was a youth pastor for 17 years at First Baptist Church in Woodstock, Ga. I then served as the campus pastor for Woodstock Panama City Beach, Fla. We felt God calling us to a new chapter, which led us to plant a church in Columbus, Ohio. Our passion and vision for the church is to help people:

BECOME Jesus followers.
GROW in their relationship with Jesus and the Father.
CONNECT with a local church in worship and small groups.
SHARE in the mission of God locally and globally.

We want to be a church that reaches people with the gospel and sends them out to reach others. We want our community to say, "What would we do without Watermark Church?" We desire to become a reproducing church that helps launch and revitalize churches for the glory of God. We hope to invest in new churches, just as others have invested in us.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

We are asking God to build our launch team to 60 people. Pray for gospel conversations. We know that the only thing that will change people lives is the gospel. God has blessed us with a building! We are grateful, but it needs to be renovated. We’ve made a lot of progress with the help of several missions teams, but there is a lot of work left to be done. Pray for God's protection against negativity. In the highs and lows of church planting, we have to stay positive and keep our hearts and minds focused on what God has called us to do, enjoy the process and not miss all the blessings and miracles along the way.

Participate
