About My Family

I was born in Detroit and raised on the west side. I’m 27 years old and am pursuing my Master of Divinity degree with a desire to finish with a Ph.D. My wife, Tedi, and I had our first child, Noah Caldwell, in January 2019. He has been a gift from God. We’ve been married three years, but friends for almost 10.

My life is a testimony to people in this city that, with Jesus Christ, change is possible and that God is willing to use the least of these as change agents for the kingdom to advance.

About My Church Plant

Our ministry is to save the lost at all cost while creating a spiritual oasis for all people. We have a desire to reach the "one" for Christ by breaking down barriers that keep many lost people away.

We have a Matthew 25 ministry that says, "When I was hungry you fed me, when I was thirsty you gave me something to drink, when I was naked you clothed me." We desire to be a spiritual and physical resource to the people of God in Detroit, Mich., through Jesus Christ.

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at

We ask you pray for the city of Detroit. Pray for resources to feed our community. Pray God leads us to our own building for more effective ministry in our area. Pray God sends Spirit-filled leaders who have a passion for this community. Pray God sends churches with whom to partner who love Detroit!

Build relationships with a church planter, team members and their families. Send notes of encouragement. Learn birthdays and anniversaries so you can send gifts and cards.
Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant. Visit for NAMB's policy on providing for church plants.
