About My Family

I am on staff with Christian Challenge at Fort Lewis College (FLC). My full-time ministry will make the message of the gospel and Jesus more available to the students of Fort Lewis College. Ministry work was something I had felt a slight urge to do most of my life; however, it was not until I came to Fort Lewis that the calling amplified. By getting involved in Christian Challenge and meeting people, such as Josh Story and countless other friends/mentors, I have grown in ways I could never have imagined. Before Christian Challenge I was a much different person. I was very reserved, had little confidence and, mainly, I was without direction.
However, here I am now with more friends than I have had in my entire life—a far improved person who sees much more of the world with the confidence to act upon it. I now do more social things in one month than I did in a year prior to FLC. I am now someone who embraces my personality quirks rather than trying to hide them or be someone else. I believe everyone has amazing potential and can do truly remarkable things if they can grow into that person.
My main goal in joining Christian Challenge is to foster the same growth I experienced here at FLC. I want to pour love, understanding, compassion, energy and care into students so they can grow as well. It won't always be easy, and prayers are much needed, but the gains far outweigh any costs. God bless.

About My Ministry

As with most missionaries, I am responsible for developing a team of partners who provide the means for me to live and cover my ministry costs. Besides prayer support, I need individuals like you to join with me through a partnership in the work God has called me to do. If moved to do so, would you and your family partner with me for the students at Fort Lewis College? I would love to have the privilege of meeting to further discuss my ministry goals and potential support: ryan.evanyo@gmail.com
