About My Family

I was born and raised in a Baptist pastor's home in Denver, Colo. Liz was raised in the home of a Christian businessman in Olathe, Kansas. We have three boys—Elijah, Nathaniel and Gideon.

Liz and I both graduated from Northland International University—me with a bachelor's degree in biblical studies and Liz with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. I also received a master's degree in biblical studies from Northland (concentration in biblical languages) and received a Master of Divinity degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. I served as a youth pastor for 10 years previous to following God's leading in church planting.

As a family, we enjoy all things outdoors. We enjoy a good story told in almost any form (movie, book, TV show, podcast, radio program, etc.). We love people and enjoy serving the Lord in Idaho!

About My Church Plant

We are serving the Lord in Twin Falls, Idaho, and are planting Twin Falls Community Church (TFCC). TFCC began as a Bible study in our home, and the Lord formed the Bible study into a church May 2, 2021. Since then, we have been gathering weekly on Sunday nights for worship.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.

Pray

Pray the Lord would fix our hearts on Him and capture our gaze so we would trust in Him with all our hearts and not look at the storms around us. Pray for boldness to share the gospel and open hearts among the people to whom we speak. Pray that through this ministry, more people would come to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy. God has sustained us through many attacks already. Pray the Lord would provide a building in which we can meet on Sunday mornings.

Participate

Build relationships with missionaries and their families. Send notes of encouragement. Learn birthdays and anniversaries, so you can send gifts and cards. One of the most helpful ways NAMB has encouraged our hearts is by sending money to enable us to invest in our marriage and family. We have not been able to have a date night in about six months. Every date night we've scheduled has been thwarted with sickness or unexpected adjustments.
Learn the ministry strategy and context, so you can provide relevant resources. Support a missionary financially.
