About My Family
We are currently planting a church in El Paso, Texas. We have four beautiful young children, and we have served as missionaries in Haiti, Cuba, Colombia, the Amazon jungle, Mexico and, by the grace of God, we planted a church in central Mexico. Before God called us to plant a church in El Paso, Texas, we were serving as interns in Lafayette, Indiana, where I was studying seminary (Masters in Divinity). My wife has a master's degree in bilingual education, she is now a homeschooling mom and she loves to serve and connect with families as a resource for their academic needs. This gives her opportunities to serve in other areas, connect with local families and share the gospel with them.
About My Church Plant
With an 80% Hispanic population and an increasing number of migrants and refugees coming to El Paso from South America, there is a great need for bilingual, doctrinally sound churches to be planted to serve our multicultural community. It is a blessing to serve Christ, His Church and our multicultural community as a bi-vocational, bilingual and bicultural pastor and church planter. We often go for prayer walks on our university campus, parks, government housing units, hospitals and around neighborhoods, to look for opportunities to share the gospel. We often visit the Hispanic refugees who are currently living in downtown El Paso, and we serve them by sharing the gospel and praying for them. We also provide warm meals, clothes and toys. We invest time with them in fellowship to share the love of Christ with them.
NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
