About My Family
Jaime and I attended a Bible college in Southern California where she and I met for the first time. Soon after graduating college, Jaime moved to the Bay Area and taught at a private school for three years while I transitioned to Las Vegas for one year. During our three-year long-distance relationship, God began to guide our hearts toward each other and toward starting a church in the Bay Area.
We were married in the Bay Area and then moved to Las Vegas and began serving on staff at our growing vibrant church in Las Vegas. After seeking God for divine direction through Scripture and prayer and through the affirmation of multiple mentors, we believe God has called us together to start a church in the San Francisco Bay Area of California, specifically Oakland!

About My Church Plant
Jaime and I moved to the Bay Area in 2018 to start Storyline in September 2019. We’re coming up in our four-year celebration in September 2023. Jesus is growing the spiritual depth and the ministry of Storyline, and we are grateful to be part of what God is doing through us in Oakland, Calif.
NAMB Church Planting
Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at namb.net/send-me.
