About My Family
I was born into a Christian family in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. I met the Lord at the age of 8 and was baptized at 16. As an adolescent, the Lord spoke to my heart to serve Him. After my baptism, I became involved in missionary work. The Lord allowed me to go to the university where I obtained my degree in agricultural engineering.
At the age of 25, I married Lastenia Atencio, and from our union Alexander and Esteban Roberto were born. They are both good Christians. Esteban serves as a pastor in Cabudare, Venezuela. Alexander is a petroleum engineer and lives in Tulsa, Okla.
After planting two churches, supporting the formation of another 14 and serving in ministry for more than 46 years, the Lord has allowed me to come to Oklahoma. Since July 2022, we have been working in Muskogee, planting the Muskogee Hispanic Baptist Church.

About My Church Plant
I began my pastoral-missionary ministry in April 1976 and have been able to serve the Lord in various ways as a pastor, missionary planter, administrative service in the National Baptist Convention of Venezuela and in social service ministries. We began planting a new Hispanic Baptist Church in Muskogee, Okla., in July 2022.
NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
