About My Family
Hello, there! My name is Amanda, and I’m a born and raised Alaskan who currently lives in the city of Wasilla with my Schnau-tzu, Flower. In my free time, I enjoy an active lifestyle of hiking, camping, hunting and a majority of outdoor activities, especially if it’s motorized (ATVs, snowmachines, motorcycles, etc.). I also enjoy my quiet time indoors doing art projects, writing, practicing my guitar, working out and building large LEGO projects!
One of my greatest joys in life is listening to others and offering encouragement. I delight in hearing about the exciting things in people’s lives, as well as the difficult and confusing times we all experience. I desire to be someone who others can confide in and express openly what is on his or her mind. You can always count on me to be a shoulder to lean on!

About My Ministry
As I participated in a discipleship training school through Youth with a Mission, God spoke to me. I will never forget the peace and clarity I received upon hearing His voice. He said to me, “I want you to join Mosaic full-time and pursue writing.” I was ecstatic; I had prayed for years for God’s calling for my life, and He finally revealed it to me!
Mosaic is a campus ministry organization that is currently established at the University of Alaska Anchorage and is also affiliated with the North American Mission Board, the Alaska Baptist Convention and Chugach Baptist Association. At Mosaic, we desire to create a loving, Christian community for students to teach, disciple, equip and send. We believe relational evangelism is essential and want to know each person who walks through our doors personally and lead them closer to Christ.
