About My Family

My wife, Mary Margaret, and I met in college and were married in 2016. We moved to New Orleans soon after and quickly grew to love the city. Immanuel Community Church took us in with open arms and graciously gave us opportunities to serve.

In 2018, I completed my M.Div. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and began coaching at a school in the city. God gave us a beautiful baby boy named James in 2020, and we could not be happier. Life and ministry in New Orleans has not been easy, but God has given us great joy and contentment over the past three years.

About My Church Plant

Through coaching, community involvement and evangelistic Bible studies, we started a youth group at Immanuel Community Church. The challenges and joys of this ministry began to reveal God's calling to plant a church in New Orleans.

Immanuel has affirmed this calling on our lives and plans to to send us out in 2021 to plant Harvest Church in the Treme/6th Ward neighborhood. God has given us much favor in Treme, and we long to see many students and their parents repent and believe the gospel. By God's grace, we desire to plant a church where we follow Jesus together and faithfully serve our city.

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God’s call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at “Send me.”

For our core team to grow in our love for Jesus, each other, and our neighbors as we prepare to plant. For God's protection over our families in the coming years. For the Lord of the harvest to save people who are far from Christ and raise them up as leaders. For favor with local leaders and organizations. For Harvest Church to be planted and multiply in the next five years.

Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant. Visit for NAMB's policy on providing for church plants.
