About My Family
I am a former Muslim who was discipled, trained, and sent by Southern Baptists, to whom I owe a debt of gratitude. I am a husband and father of three children. Born in the Middle East and raised as a strict Sunni Muslim, I immigrated to Canada as a teen. In my mid-twenties, a friend invited me to church, where I heard the gospel and was born again.
After returning to the Middle East for work, I met my wife, Petra, from Slovakia. She was born again after I shared the gospel with her. We were discipled by an IMB team who encouraged me to pursue seminary at Liberty University, where I later earned an M.A. and Ph.D., and afterward a D.Min. from Southeastern.
In response to the gospel need here, I was sent to plant through NAMB. Hence, I was discipled, trained, and sent by Southern Baptists, for whom I praise God and with whom I now serve.

About My Church Plant
In April 2023, we planted in the heart of Montreal to reach a region where evangelicals make up less than 0.85%. We are an English-speaking, multiethnic congregation representing over 20 nationalities and 15 languages, united in Christ and mission. By God’s grace, our membership has doubled in the first two years, with 11 baptisms and more forthcoming.
We are committed to raising up pastors, planters, and revitalizers for Quebec and beyond through a hands-on internship that offers transferable M.Div. credits, in partnership with several SBC seminaries, preparing them for faithful gospel ministry in difficult and unreached contexts. However, we recognize that we cannot do this alone. We desire to partner with individuals and churches who share our passion for seeing the kingdom of Christ advance in Quebec to the glory of the Triune God.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
