About My Family
My wife, our two children, and I were born in Mexico City. I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior in 1987. After serving at “Aposento Alto” Baptist Church in Mexico, in 1998 God brought us to the United States. In 2000, God called me to serve as a church planter. After planting several churches in Oregon God sent us to Calgary, Canada. We planted a Hispanic church in 2012.
In 2022, we entered Toronto’s residency program to obtain a certificate in church planting from the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Our family has always worked together as part of the planting team. Though our children are married, they continue to support the ministry.
We are also happily blessed with two wonderful grandchildren.

About My Church Plant
This winter, with God’s help, we will pre-launch our new church plant, Iglesia Bautista El Alfarero, in the southern area of Calgary, Alberta. Our mission is to share the gospel as stated in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) by connecting and developing relationships with individuals in the Latino communities.
NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
