About My Family
My wife, Cyndia, and I have been married for 34 years. We have two wonderful children: Jasmine and Daniel. I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. I was a member of a Hispanic church where my father was a pastor. My wife was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she was also a member of a Hispanic church.
In 1989, my wife and I moved to Central Florida (where we met) and married. In 2003, we made the City of Clermont/Minneola our home.

About My Church Plant
We have been members of The Grove Church in Clermont since 2017, where I’ve served as an elder in preaching, teaching, discipleship and leadership. In July 2023, Cyndia and I moved to Miami, Florida, to join the pastoral residency program from the North American Mission Board through Send Network Español. We returned to Clermont in June 2024, and I began the Finishing Residency with Orlando Church Planting Network.
We have a core team of 16 people who are excited about what God is doing in the Clermont community. We plan to launch Fuente de Esperanza—a Hispanic, bilingual church—in September 2025. Our mission is to “Reach the lost and cultivate disciples through the power of the Gospel.”

NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
