About My Family
My wife, Cyndia, and I have been married for 32 years. We have two wonderful young adult children: Jasmine (31) and Daniel (19). I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. I was a member of a Hispanic church where my father was a pastor. My wife was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she was also a member of a Hispanic church. In 1989, my wife and I moved to Central Florida (where we met) and married in 1991. In 2003, we made the City of Clermont/Minneola our home.
About My Church Plant
We have been members of The Grove Church in Clermont since 2017, where I've served as an elder in preaching, teaching, discipleship and leadership. In July 2023, Cyndia and I moved to Miami, Florida, to join the pastoral residency program from the North American Mission Board through Send Network Español. After the residency in June 2024, we will return to Clermont to begin training and developing the core team to launch a Hispanic church plant, Fuente de Esperanza, in the fall of 2025.
