About My Family
We are planting a church in the valley in Knoxville, Tennessee, in partnership with the Well Network. My wife (Beth) and I met while attending Samford University and were married in 2020. We have two children—Emmy (3) and Shepherd (8 months).
Beth will be a fourth-grade teacher in Knoxville. I will graduate this fall from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with my M.Div. I enjoy reading, watching sports, playing golf, and running. As a family, we enjoy spending time together and being outside.
We are passionate about seeing God establish a church that is deeply rooted in the gospel and driven by the Great Commission—committed not only to reaching Knoxville, but to sending disciples to the nations. We pray that Church in the Valley will be used by God to ignite a multiplying movement of disciples made and sent for His glory.

About My Church Plant
We are planting Church in the Valley in Knoxville, Tennessee. Knoxville represents both a tremendous opportunity and a significant spiritual need. The Knoxville metro area is home to more than 950,000 people, including soon-to-be more than 50,000 students at the University of Tennessee alone. Studies indicate that more than 75% of college students are disengaged from a local church. Despite Knoxville’s location in the Bible Belt, many residents—students and families alike—do not have a meaningful connection to a gospel-centered, disciple-making church. Knoxville has a need to reach many with the gospel and has the potential to be a launchpad for sending disciple-makers across the world.
NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
