About My Family
I am married to my beloved Katie. She has been an instrumental partner in ministry. We are trying to expand our family with children.
I am a former library director and love books and scholarly endeavors. I have a heart for military members. I am an avid golfer, a runner and a board gamer. My life verse is Matthew 22:37-39: “And He said to him, ’You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”

About My Ministry
I am an SBC-endorsed chaplain for the 116th Air Control Wing at Robins Air Force Base. I finished all my training at the end of June. I am on fire for the Lord and am ready to minister to my airmen.
SBC Chaplaincy
Chaplaincy is a vital frontline ministry and extension of the local church. Chaplains reach the lost among the thousands of men and women in the U.S. Armed Forces, healthcare settings, correctional facilities, public safety, disaster relief sites, and corporate environments. SBC Chaplains care for the broken, offer hope to the hopeless, and advance the gospel of Jesus Christ in hard-to-reach places.

These qualification requirements vary according to the type of chaplaincy or counseling ministry involved but all are expected to meet a high level of ministerial competence.
