About My Family

My name is Billy Soberón. I was born in Lima, Peru, and have served in pastoral ministry since 2010. God’s faithfulness has blessed my wife and me throughout our years of ministry. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve Hispanic families and reach people with the gospel in the United States. We desire to glorify Christ, make disciples, and help others grow in their relationship with Him through the teaching of God’s Word and biblical community.

About My Church Plant

I serve as pastor of the Hispanic ministry at The Church at the Beach in Panama City Beach, Florida. Our mission is to proclaim the gospel, make disciples, and equip believers to live faithfully for Christ. We are reaching Spanish-speaking families in our community through worship services, Bible studies, discipleship relationships, evangelism, and community outreach. We desire to see lives transformed by the power of the gospel and healthy disciples multiplying for the glory of God.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.

Pray

Pray for boldness to proclaim the gospel and for God to open hearts among the Hispanic families in our community. Pray that many would come to saving faith in Christ, grow spiritually, become faithful disciples, and live on mission. Please pray for wisdom as we lead and shepherd God’s people, for strength and protection for our family and ministry team, and for endurance and longevity amid spiritual opposition. Pray also that God would continue opening doors, raise up future leaders, and provide opportunities to establish healthy, multiplying churches for His glory.
