About My Family
My wife, Jeana, and I have been married for 28 years. We have three children: Christina (27), Elizabeth (24) and Jacob (19). We have been active members of Pleasant Garden Baptist Church in North Carolina for 14 years, primarily in the worship ministry and leading small groups.
Jeana is a public school teacher currently serving as an Exceptional Children Specialist. I was a prosecutor for 11 years and have worked as the legal adviser for the High Point Police Department since 2008. We both graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill. I have a master’s degree in pastoral ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS).
In 2019, while on a mission trip to Thailand, I felt God calling me to go to seminary to prepare for future ministry. After earning my degree from NOBTS, God used a mission trip to Ukraine to call me to plant a church.

About My Church Plant
After practicing law for 25 years, I was looking forward to retiring in 2026. God had other plans! We are planting Growing Faith Church in Liberty, N.C., and hope to launch services in 2025.
In 2018, North Carolina Baptists identified 250 “pockets of lostness” across the state where more than 70% report no personal relationship with Jesus. Pocket #247 is centered on Liberty. In 2021, Toyota announced a battery manufacturing plant near Liberty, which will begin operations in 2025. It is estimated the plant will bring 80,000 people to this area in the next seven years.
We are following God’s call to Liberty because of the great need for the gospel which is already present and will only increase over the next five to 10 years. The dramatic change coming to this small town has made the soil fertile for planting seeds of Growing Faith!

NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
