About My Family

I have been married to Joan Daly since 2012, and we are blessed with six children. Originally from Puerto Rico, the Lord called our family back to our home island to minister in Mayagüez. Coming from a pastoral family, I have a deep-rooted passion for the gospel and community service. Joan and I are dedicated to living out our faith and modeling a commitment to Christ, answering the call to reach our community with the transformative message of the gospel.

About My Church Plant

After serving as a youth pastor and gaining church-planting experience with the Send Network and RED 1:8 Church Planting Network, the Lord opened a new door for me to plant Iglesia Bautista El Mesías in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. The church is actively preparing for its official public launch in October 2026. My ministry focuses on comprehensive discipleship, student ministries (including UBE and Red J+B initiatives), and active community engagement through local volunteering. My vision is to establish a culturally authentic, gospel-centered church that serves both the spiritual and physical needs of the Mayagüez community.

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at namb.net/send-me.

Pray

Pray for our upcoming public launch of Iglesia Bautista El Mesías on October 25, 2026. Pray for receptive hearts in Mayagüez as we engage the community through public distribution events and ministry. Pray for the finalization of our gathering space, including the installation of climate control and audio equipment. Pray for our family as we balance ministry, discipleship, and family life. Pray that the Father will send more workers into His harvest to join these local efforts.

Participate

Partner with Iglesia Bautista El Mesías as a ministry partner or a Supporting Church. Commit to long-term missions support and partner with us in Puerto Rico. Be involved in supporting our family and our local outreach initiatives. Pray continuously for the discipleship and growth of our new church plant.
Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant.
