About My Family
We’re the Moores! I’m Cam, and beside me is my wife, Christa. In her arms is Rowan, and in mine is Charlee.
Though both pastor’s kids, Christa and I grew up on opposite sides of North America. I’m a born-and-raised Georgian. Christa on the other hand was born in Texas, grew up in Alberta, Canada, and moved to Georgia when she was in high school. We both attended Toccoa Falls College and met during our sophomore summer as we were asked to serve on a traveling worship band together. The next summer, we got engaged and the next, we married.
Eight years have passed since then, and they have been years filled with seminary, ministry, the addition of those kiddos above, and saying yes to God’s call to church planting.

About My Church Plant
God has spoken to us clearly as He has called us to specifically plant in Nanaimo, a city located on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.
Nanaimo is known as “the hub city” of the island. It’s centrally located, it’s one of the main harbors for mainland commerce and entrance to the island, and even the downtown road system mimics a wheel hub with spokes sprouting out from the center. We want to see Nanaimo become a “hub” for the gospel—that starting with a mighty movement of God, the gospel would change and then go from Nanaimo to impact every city and town on Vancouver Island.
As we plant the gospel, plant our lives and plant a church, our prayer is that Nanaimo would become both a center and sending point for gospel activity.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.
