About My Family
My wife and I are Atlanta natives, who met during our undergrad at Berry College in Rome, Ga. Our call to move to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, in 2006 was clear, and God provided for us to make a quick transition.
We have six children, ranging from 16 to 5 years old. When our family is looking for a way to connect and enjoy one another’s company, you will almost always find us outside tending our garden, blazing a trail on foot or horseback, biking the neighborhood or passing a disc or soccer ball.

About My Church Plant
Celebration! Church Ottawa brings to life the kingdom principle that God can accomplish BIG things with small offerings. I have been the pastor here for 18 years, and have championed the vision to make disciples who make disciples. Celebration! Church had the privilege of “adopting” an aging church that needed help, settling into building ownership, working hard to balance residential ministry with maintaining a meaningful presence on university campuses, and equipping our members to be difference-makers in their own neighborhoods around the city.
We rejoice in having been part of encouraging/supporting many new churches across our city. Our most recent ministry initiative was to create a Discipleship Pathway to give all of our members and attenders a very clear and concrete path for how they can mature as Christ-followers.

NAMB Church Planting
Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at namb.net/send-me.
