About My Family
My name is Carter Phillips, and I am a resident of Anthem, Arizona. I graduated from Grand Canyon University in December of 2025 before answering God’s calling to stay in Arizona indefinitely. I will be joining the King’s Church staff as a full-time resident in August of 2026.
About My Church Plant
Beginning in the fall, I’ll serve as a ministry resident at King’s Church, a church plant in Anthem, Arizona. Through this residency, I am being guided by pastoral leadership and biblical training to understand my calling in ministry.
My time is focused on four things: developing as a leader, receiving hands-on pastoral ministry training, engaging our city with the gospel, and learning to make disciples who make disciples. Alongside our team, I am actively building relationships with church members and leading in the kids’ and young adults’ ministries. My goal is to finish this residency ready to take the next step in ministry that God calls me to.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.
