About My Family
My wife, Genna, and I grew up in the Hurst, Euless, Bedford (H-E-B) area. In elementary school, we became next door neighbors. We went to Trinity High School and started dating in my senior year. We dated through college attending the University of North Texas and got married in 2013.
We have four beautiful kids ages 9, 7, 6 and 4. We both previously worked in education for six years and loved our jobs. Until in 2017, I began to have a growing desire to preach the gospel and sensed the Lord’s call to ministry.

About My Church Plant
The following year, Pastor JR Vassar offered me an opportunity to enter the pastoral residency at Church at the Cross (CATC) to be developed for ministry and a new chapter for our family began. For the past four years, I joyfully served as the Alpha Director & Young Adults minister at CATC.
In 2024, with the affirmation of our elders, we announced to the church that we were planting Renewal City Church in Celina, Texas, and begin building our team. Over the next year, we moved 20 people to Celina with us, and we will begin gathering this summer and launch September 7, 2025!
