About My Family
I was not raised in a Christian home. Jesus saved me when I was 16 years old at a Sunday morning church service not far from where I grew up in North Carolina. My wife, Ashlie, and I (both North Carolina natives) celebrated our 25th anniversary in 2023. We have five children ranging from ages 7–19.
After serving in local church ministry as an associate and senior pastor at established churches, the burden to plant began to outweigh our security and understanding. We both knew, after months of prayer and godly counsel, it was the Lord’s will to plant Mission Bible Church.

About My Church Plant
We planted Mission Bible Church in the University City area of Charlotte because too many people here still need to hear and respond to the glorious gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. We want to do everything we can to make it hard to get to hell from this region of North Carolina.
We long to be a church family on mission together to see Christ as the hub of every home around us.
As a church, we want to know, love and obey JESUS together and make disciple-making disciples for GOD’S GLORY!

NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
