About My Family
My wife, Avery, and I, currently live in New Orleans, La. We both love the city that God has placed us in and deeply long to see the people in our community glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
We currently live at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, where I am going to school and where my wife teaches 1-year-olds. We currently have no children, but we do have a great dog named Spock. We all three love to go on long walks together as we spend time in the community in which our church is located.
Avery is very talented at cooking, sewing, working with children, crafting and many other things. I enjoy reading, woodworking, fly-fishing, drawing and things similar to these. Though we have our hobbies, our favorite thing to do is to worship God and evangelize with our church family in the Bywater.

About My Ministry
I currently serve as the pastor of evangelism at Refuge Church, which is located in the Bywater community of New Orleans. We are in a very unique and diverse community. I have spoken to many people in the past three years who believe in things from Islam, Wicca, and Voodoo and many other types of religions/beliefs. Yet, throughout the hundreds if not thousands of recorded gospel conversations we have had, we have met only a handful of people who claim to believe in Jesus.
We desire to see the Bywater become a place where Jesus Christ is worshiped. We long to see a believer on every single block within the community. Our church gatherings are currently held in the Healing Center, which is owned by the voodoo priests of New Orleans. We gather within the Healing Center in hope that one day it will become a place of true healing.
