About My Family
My firefighter husband and I have been happily married for 28 years. We are the proud parents of two daughters who wholeheartedly follow Jesus and are equally blessed with godly sons-in-law. Our family includes two delightful grandchildren and a precious grandson who met Jesus on his birthday—forever a treasured part of our story.
Our children and sons-in-law are actively involved in ministry through their church and in coaching college sports. I find great joy in supporting their ministries as they support mine. I enjoy baking, gardening, traveling and embracing life’s adventures with those I love most.

About My Ministry
I am the founder of Chaplains and Heroes, a national ministry that equips churches and chaplains to support law enforcement through spiritual care, training and community partnership. I am a volunteer police chaplain endorsed by the SBC. I serve as an assistant director of the Franklin County Sheriff Chaplain Unit in Columbus, Ohio, and with the Groveport Police Department. I hold multiple certifications in CISM, grief, suicide and trauma, using my training to 980+ deputies and their families.
I also serve as a chaplain with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team and in chaplaincy and administration with Samaritan’s Purse International Disaster Response.

SBC Chaplaincy
Chaplaincy is a vital frontline ministry and extension of the local church. Chaplains reach the lost among the thousands of men and women in the U.S. Armed Forces, correctional facilities, healthcare settings, public safety, disaster relief sites, and corporate environments. SBC Chaplains care for the broken, offer hope to the hopeless, and advance the gospel of Jesus Christ in hard-to-reach places.
The qualifications expected of a Southern Baptist applying for endorsement as a chaplain or counselor are established by their institution and the Chaplains Commission, SBC. These qualification requirements vary according to the type of chaplaincy or counseling ministry involved but all are expected to meet a high level of ministerial competence.
