About My Family
Originally from Alabama, I met my wife, Erin, at the University of Mobile (UM). We’ve been married since June 2, 2001, and now have five children (Judah, Hannah, Gabriel, Peter and Luke).
After graduating from UM, we moved to the Memphis, Tenn., area where I graduated from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. During the past 20+ years, we have lived in and served churches in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Nebraska, Texas and now Colorado, which is where we are privileged to live near family.
Throughout my first 20 years of serving in multiple churches as a youth pastor or discipleship pastor, God was growing an interest and passion in me for church planting, all the while deepening a burden in our hearts for doing ministry in Denver’s south metro area.

About My Church Plant
After connecting with the Calvary Family of Churches, we moved here in the summer of 2019. The Calvary Family of Churches has been an incredible encouragement to us in pursuing our passion for planting this church to make Jesus non-ignorable in Highlands Ranch and to the ends of the earth.
We began building our core team in the spring of 2020. Seemingly unhindered by Covid, we had our first public service in July and then launched weekly services in January of 2021, meeting in a local charter school. Highlands Ranch is technically not a city, but a large HOA of a little more than 100k people, covering a little more than 25 square miles. With at least 60% claiming no religious affiliation and only a handful of churches, we were compelled to plant a church here that would, in time, plant more churches to reach more people with the gospel.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.
