About My Family

In 2002, Courtney and I said yes to one another in marriage and together said yes to a lifetime of ministry and service. It’s been quite the adventure ever since! We spent our first three and one-half years planting a church with the Ocoee River Community in eastern Tennessee. In 2005, we headed north to Boston, Mass., planting churches and ministering. In 2012, we headed west to Montana where we have launched and invested in a wide variety of ministries.

Now, in 2019, we are preparing for our next ministry assignment in Cleveland, Tenn., while continuing to invest in Montana and the Northwest. Despite our desire to serve overseas, the Lord continues to lead us to various communities in North America, so here we go again!

About My Church Plant

We are grateful for our years spent in Montana. The Lord has done so much! In June 2019, we will be relocating to Cleveland, Tenn., to provide a better climate for some of the health battles Courtney has had over the past five years. We will continue to travel to Montana to invest in the ministry leader workshops we help facilitate, but we are also excited for the new opportunities awaiting us in Tennessee. We will spend our first six months transitioning, making connections and getting a pulse on the spiritual climate and how and where the Lord leads us to invest. We are thankful for the thousands of lives the Lord has allowed us to be part of, from the Ocoee to Boston to Montana, and are confident He has great things in store for us in the days to come! We'd be honored for you to partner with us. Thank you for your prayers and support!

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at

Pray for vibrancy in our connection with God. Pray that the Spirit would lead and direct our paths. Pray that we would love, give and serve generously. Pray for the health of our family (financially, physically, emotionally, spiritually). Pray for wisdom, strength, perseverance and endurance in ministry.

Pray-Give-Go: * Pray for us. * Partner with us. * Join us.
Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant. Visit for NAMB's policy on providing for church plants.
