About My Family

I am a native New Yorker of Puerto Rican descent, born in Manhattan and raised in the Bronx. I am a product of the New York City public school system until the 12th grade then I attended a private university in Queens.

While in my mid-20s, I was offered a job opportunity in Los Angeles, California, and it was there Jesus Christ saved me. I then relocated to South Florida and soon after surrendered my life to my LORD, Jesus Christ by dedicating my gifts and talents to His service.

I have had the honor of serving the Lord in various capacities in the cities of Miami, Florida; Baltimore, Maryland; Columbus, Ohio, and now back in New York City, my hometown. I also help care for my elderly parents.

I enjoy studying the Bible, reading, visiting historical sites, meeting new people, cooking, tasting good cuisine and hiking.

About My Church Plant

I have been an active member of Fordham Community Church (FCC), which is a church plant in the Fordham section of the Bronx, for almost two years. We are an ethnically and generationally diverse church filled with people who long to see the borough of the Bronx be transformed by Jesus Christ.

During my time at FCC, I have served on the kid’s ministry team, the Upkeep Team, helped launched the Spanish-Speaking Interpretation Team and am a committed member of our weekly City Links (small group). I was invited to join FCC’s staff as the church’s administration assistant.

At times it has been a surreal experience living on mission in my hometown as a redeemed daughter of the living God and being part of this thriving, biblically sound church. God is so faithful. God is so good.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.

Pray

Pray for boldness to share the gospel and open hearts among the people to whom I speak. Pray that through this ministry, more people would come to saving faith and live on mission. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy.

Participate

Build relationships with missionaries and their families. Send notes of encouragement. Learn birthdays and anniversaries, so you can send gifts and cards.
Learn the ministry strategy and context, so you can provide relevant resources. Support a missionary financially.
