About My Family
I came to Montréal from Alberta in 2007 to attend Concordia University. Sonia emmigrated from Russia to Montréal as a child in the early 90s. She grew up in a Baptist home in Montreal and attended a Russian-speaking church in Côte-des-Neiges, the very neighbourhood in which we are planting. We met in 2010 and married in the summer of 2011.
It was through meeting Sonia that God brought me to faith in the sacrifice of Jesus, and it wasn’t long after that I felt a calling for ministry. In 2016, I had a clear and urgent call to begin a new ministry right where we were. God was calling us to do something in Côte-des-Neiges.
A few months later Sonia gave birth to our first child, Isaac. He was followed two years later by our daughter, Celeste. Together they have become our junior partners in church planting and ministry.

About My Church Plant
The vision of Voyage Church has been to spread the gospel message of salvation through the sacrifice of Jesus. In spite of the religious history of Montreal, this is a rarely heard and much needed message throughout the city of Montreal and in our neighbourhood of Cote-des-Neiges.
While we faithfully seek to proclaim our need of forgiveness and God's gracious remedy in all we do, we have discerned a calling from God to focus on three specific areas: to directly disciple believers so that everyone can realize the transformation God desires of us, to actively reach out and be present in our community to showcase the love of God through our actions, and finally to be a church that the power of God is experienced through the gift of prayer.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
