About My Family

I graduated from Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) in spring of 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in fire protection administration with the intentions of pursuing a career in the fire service. But during my first year in college, Christ got hold of my heart, and I put my faith in Jesus as my Lord and Savior. About a year later, I began to feel a call to ministry full-time. After graduating I decided to explore that calling by becoming a full-time campus ministry intern at the place where my life was changed, EKU’s Baptist Campus Ministry (BCM).

I married my wife, Kelli, going into my senior year of college as she was entering her last year of school studying occupational therapy. We enjoy activities such as hiking, outdoor walks, pickleball, tennis and spending quality time with friends.

About My Ministry

EKU’s BCM exists to reach the campus with the gospel of Jesus Christ, connect them to a local church and develop them toward spiritual maturity.

As a campus ministry intern and missionary, I have many roles and responsibilities including, but not limited to:
–Property manager, ensuring the building is well maintained.
–A specific focus on connecting with international students.
–Connecting students to a local church.
–Intern with my local church to serve them in various ways.
–Evangelize and disciple students.
–Help lead trainings on evangelism, discipleship and missions.
–Small group leader along with my wife, Kelli.
–Building relationships with students by getting lunch or coffee.
–Attend conferences, retreats and missions trips.
–Spend time around campus to meet college students who are not involved with a campus ministry.
